Sarah Przybylowicz has thrived in an office environment, starting with her first job at 15-years-old working at a car dealership. While attending Wayne State University to pursue a psychology degree, she simultaneously worked at an animal hospital, where she stayed for 15 years. Sarah then worked at an electrical distributor, honing her purchasing, customer support and accounting skills before joining MJS Packaging eight years ago.

Sarah was excited to take her knowledge of distribution and apply it to her new role at MJS Packaging, where she has been an invaluable asset ever since. With her education, expertise in distribution and passion for the company, Sarah has been an integral part of the company’s success as an Account Specialist.
She was surprised by how much went into packaging and started looking at things differently when she entered stores. Her manager at the time, Ronni Majewski, had a “liner-a-day” training that Sarah found helpful. Liners were a particularly challenging aspect of packaging for her to learn, so breaking it down and having a great reference was incredibly helpful.
Although she can handle all packaging needs, Sarah works primarily with pharmaceutical and personal care customers. She finds these industries very interesting, as there is always something new and exciting to learn. With everything regulated and specified (such as resins and colorants), she says it keeps her on her toes, especially when quoting a new product. Sarah loves the challenge of finding the perfect packaging for each customer.

The new partner also provided lower minimum order quantities at better prices. Sarah prides herself on finding creative solutions to her customers’ problems, and this was just one example of how she has used her knowledge and expertise to save them money.

She believes it’s essential to focus on the collective ‘we’ instead of just the individual ‘me.’ “This is always a winner in most things in life, not just work,” she adds. She believes anything is possible if you put in the necessary effort and remain focused on your goals. Sarah also understands the importance of learning and exploring.
